Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is an Hollywood actor, writer and best-selling novelist. Her talents have won her world-wide recognition. Sagittarius. Her birthplace was in North Carolina, on 3rd December 1960. She's the eldest of the three children born to Peter Moore Smith (a paratrooper) and Anne Smith, who is a psychologist. She has English and Scottish roots. In the course of her father's employment, the Moore family moved a lot and she struggled to establish friendships or maintain ones. After her family relocated to Germany Moore attended Frankfurt American High School where she was first a part of plays. In 1983 she received an BA in Fine Arts degree from Boston University. After graduating, Moore moved to New York where she started her professional career in off-Broadway theatre. Moore started her acting career off-Broadway and in New York, after she had graduated. She made an appearance on screen in The Edge of Night. She played the roles of Sabrina Hughes and Frannie Hughes in the show As the World Turns the show that marked her debut. The show aired until 1988, when she received a Daytime Emmy Award. Her film debut came in the year 1990, with Tales from the Darkside: The Movie the film she later described as an awful low-budget film. Short Cuts (1993), 3 Women (1997), as well as 3 Women (1997), were both produced by Robert Altman. She received several nominations and was praised for the debut film.
